On a transformative night in Atlanta, the Plaza Theatre became more than just a venue, it became a portal into the ancestral memory of a people. The screening of Heavy Is The Crown 2, the latest installment by visionary filmmaker @amadeuzchrist , was a soul-stirring continuation of the critically acclaimed Out of Darkness series. With a packed house and an atmosphere charged with reverence and intellectual fire, the film delivered a resounding message: Our story didn’t begin with slavery, it began with divinity.
A sequel to Out of Darkness: Heavy is the Crown Vol. 1 and a spiritual successor to the original Out of Darkness, this third chapter in the groundbreaking documentary series dives deep into the African Sacred Sciences of Ancient Kemet (Egypt) and their profound impact on Western religions. Featuring some of the most formidable minds in African-centered scholarship Kaba Kamene, Tony Browder, Professor James Small, David Banner, Dr. Chike Akua, and others, the documentary is an intellectual tour de force. Building Seven Media is excited to announce the completion of Out of Darkness: Heavy is the Crown Vol. 2. In preparation for the film's release, we will be partnering with 3 Milli Productions to host a private VIP film screening of "Out of Darkness: Heavy is the Crown Vol. 2" on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at 5:30 PM, at the Plaza Theatre in Atlanta (1049 Ponce De Leon Ave NE, Atlanta, GA 30306).
"Out of Darkness: Heavy is the Crown Vol.2" is the third film in the "Out of Darkness" documentary film series, continuing the exploration of the African Sacred Science of Ancient Egypt (Kemet) and its influence on Western Religions. The film features Kaba Kamene, Tony Browder, Prof. James Small, David Banner, Dr. Chike Akua and others.
We are excited to share this definitive documentary on the history and culture of Ancient Egypt, and of African people.
